FOR MORE CAR VIDEOS & REVIEWS CHECK OUT www.kbb.com Nissan Rogue. After years of watching rival Honda clean up with its compact CR-V crossover, Nissan has finally joined the battle with its own car-based cute-ute, the Rogue. Nissans pricing strategy aims to offer consumers an entry level, bare bones model and then let them decide how much to pay for added features. The Rogues sporty good looks and performance-car inspired handling help it stand out from more mundane offerings. Still, with tough competition from the likes of the Honda CR-V, Saturn VUE and Toyota RAV4, plus the lack of some vital options such as a V6 engine and DVD-based navigation, the Rogues path to success promises to be littered with obstacles. There is nothing remotely sporty about this car. The way they use the word “sport” these days is sickening. It has no meaning.

  2. DarkenedClarity says:

This car dont look as bad as some of the Honda’s they are more like a damn spaceship. They look ugly inside.

  3. ricardomoratilla says:

Nissan really sucks, mi sister just ot one and it has ver cheap and ugly inside materials. So is the engine. I think the rav-4 and the crv are still at the top

  4. dragonstorm83 says:

it turned me off at first, then i test drove it. I love how it drives, and the interior is beautiful for a car with a simple design. Great cheap car, if you get the base model!

  5. GrahamCrackers94 says:

yeah grill is ugly, but now for 2010, you can get a chrome grill as an option. it looks wayy better.

  6. dragonstorm83 says:

what is the emphasis on the navigation system? if you don’t know what you are going, get off the road!

  7. sniper4usmc says:

    front grill is so ugly

  8. coolerdude44 says:

    which model do you own?

  9. TheHayasa says:

i own a 2006 altima and i dont know what you are talking about…

  10. BklynJayL says:

    Well…, sort of.

  11. BklynJayL says:

Maybe so…but, most people don’t want to feel as if, they’re driving in a Sentra when, they have a Maxima because of, the same interior look.

  12. flykyte143 says:

yes and they look to spaceship looking

  13. coolerdude44 says:

idk i’m gonna test drive it soon, i’ll have to see for myself. i’ve seen some reviewers say that you’ll grind to a halt in a sea of noise, and others say it’s sublime.

  14. quessbee123 says:

Really? Wow! Actually…, I thought, their CVT trannys were good?! I guess, they’re not! I have heard bad stories about CVT trannys, though.

  15. coolerdude44 says:

i think their downfall is the transmission. i owned a 2006 altima with a 4 speed auto, and that was incredibly jerky, ruined the car. and now they all come with cvt’s which feel torque-restricting and noisy.

  16. BklynJayL says:

I can agree with that. You couldn’t say that about Hyundai, a few yrs. back, though!

  17. BklynJayL says:

    They’re good…but, I wouldn’t say, the best!

  18. justinparrkk says:

but all of them look good.

  19. BklynJayL says:

Nissan makes very good vehicles…but, their downfall is, all of their vehicle’s interiors looks the same!

  20. flip92 says:

nissan has the best car designs ever. not trying too hard, but not lacking a single thing, briliant.

  21. JRoyce50 says:

i think nissans usually look the best, (basically comparing to hondas and toyotas) and their powerful.
this ones weak but then again you, get what you pay for. The main I can’t stand about this is it’s grille.. idk why i just think it looks so ugly..

  22. sparklerbombg says:

I THINK A LAMBORGINI BEAT THIS THINK.

  23. FLip8822 says:

i think that nissan and mazda have the most appealing interiors of starting priced cars. the black with orange lit controls looks fenominal.

  24. FLip8822 says:

the styling of the rogue is better than the crv imo.
