FOR MORE CAR VIDEOS & REVIEWS CHECK OUT www.kbb.com The Subaru Legacys appeal was once largely limited to a small car buying niche, often found bounding through banks of freshly fallen Vermont snow. As the years have passed, those in more temperate climates have also come to appreciate the sure-footedness provided by all-wheel drive. Continuing its march to the mainstream, the latest generation Subaru Legacy offers sportier looks, improved safety, a high-quality interior and yes, all-wheel drive. While many of the Legacys attributes carry on unchanged, one notable difference is the lack of a wagon body style. Wagon fans rest assured — the Subaru wagon carries on as the Outback, leaving the name Legacy exclusively for Subarus mid-size sedan. you mean like on every other car ? in most cars the front wheels do more work like turning and braking therefore there is more wear on front tires

Upstate NY here, Looking to buy one of these, as I think they are gorgeous first of all and the fact I have harsh winters and children I feel confident in going with the Legacy. Any years to avoid? I read Edmunds and see some complaints of shifting not being smooth. Any suggestions on ones to avoid?
